Hello everyone, in this article, we will learn how to complete the installation of Rock pi 5 by loading an imager onto an SD card.
Rock Pi is a device known as a single-board computer (SBC) that is produced by Radxa. Similar to a Raspberry Pi, Rock Pi is one of the development boards that have a range of impressive features despite its miniature size. Rock Pi models are generally known for featuring powerful ARM-based processors, expandable RAM, a slot for an eMMC module, one or more USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI outputs.
Only the Radxa Rock 5B 8GB comes out of the box.
You should choose the option suitable for your computer.
We download a Debian-based imager, and you can click on this link for that:

After the download process is completed, we need to place our SD card into the SD card reader. There is a very important point to pay attention to here. We should have placed the SD card in the slot before connecting the SD card reader to the computer. The SD card should not be inserted or removed in case of power flow.
Now we open BalenaEtcher:We click on "Flash from file". Then we select the imager we loaded:
Then we click on "Select Target" and select our SD card:
Then we click on "Flash!" and the installation process starts.
After the installation is completed, we remove the SD card and place it in the SD card slot on Radxa 5B. We need to do this before other connections because as mentioned before, there should be no power flow when inserting the SD card. Then we connect the Radxa 5B to a monitor via an HDMI cable, and then we connect the mouse and keyboard to the Radxa 5B as well. We also need an adapter to run it. The adapter provides power to run the device.
